Sandanski

For this year's springtime trip, our Kyustendil kids enjoyed a day in beautiful Sandanski. A scenic hour and a half bus ride from Kyustendil took us straight south where the warmer climate wouldn't inhibit our day outdoors. Sandanski is famous for it's mineral waters, and hosts a beautiful large park, replete with a lake and a stream. The kids enjoyed a full day of walks, leisure, paddle-boating, and play in the park. The small park zoo was also a hit! And of course they enjoyed a picnic lunch with foods whey they had helped prepare themselves.
